ReachOut! believes that every young person should be able to access positive support to help them reach their full potential - and that, once capable, the young person should then be given the responsibility to support others in need.

We are a voluntary mentoring programme which started in 1994 in Moss Side, Manchester, with just 20 volunteers. The project proved so successful that today more than 350 children and young people from socially and economically deprived neighbourhoods in inner city areas in London and Manchester enjoy a two-hour one-on-one mentoring session with aspirational role models, usually volunteer university student mentors.
