The ReachOut! Clubs aim to help children to develop academic competence, especially in English and Mathematics, through support from a mentor as a way to become better prepared for secondary school, higher education or further training.
Team activities and one-to-one mentoring help to develop our four core character values - Fairness, Self-Control, Good Judgement and Staying Power as well as our four competence areas, literacy, numeracy, memory skills and communication skills..
Working with positive role-models exposes children to new and varied ideas and raises aspirations, inspiring them in their studies and encouraging them to pursue tertiary education or further training with a view to achieving career ambitions.
