The ReachOut! Clubs provide mentoring for young people who either self- refer or are referred directly by their school.
Young people and volunteers attend weekly sessions run by trained ReachOut! staff generally comprising one hour of one-to-one academic and personal support based on our curriculum focusing on competence and character skills and one hour of fun activities.
The SHINE project will be focused mainly on academic support in Maths or English.
Key Features:
- One to one mentoring in a group setting
- Volunteers provide numeracy and literacy support for mentees
- Fun activities often included including sports, arts, craft,s drama and cooking
- Children attend at their own school
- Run during or after school
