    Project Summary: The Brook Community ReachOut! Club is an after school mentoring project supporting academic learning and social development amongst children aged 10 to 11. We need volunteers to act as mentors, supporting mentees to overcome obstacles in their learning, as well as tackling social problems such as confidence and bullying.   • Time: Fridays from 3.30 – 5.30pm
  • Duration: starting Friday 4th November to mid-March
  • Location: Brook Community Primary School, Sigdon Road, E8 1AS
  • Age of mentees: 10 to 11 years old (Y6)
  • Volunteers required: 10 female mentors* and 10 male mentors*
  • Parking: none available
  • Criteria for joining this project: You will need to:

  • Be female for the girls Club* or male for the boys Club*
  • Be able to commit to attending 90% of sessions or more
  • Register as a mentor
  • Complete our in-house training course (for more details on training use the link on the sidebar menu to the left)
  • Satisfy Criminal Record Bureau (CRB) Disclosure criteria (for more details on the CRB process use the link on the sidebar menu to the left)
  • Sign up to the ReachOut! Mentoring Agreement** (when you register)
  • If you wish to volunteer for this project, please register as a mentor now!

    *Based on our policy of trying to provide same-sex mentor role models
