Today's fast-paced world presents young people with a plethora of opportunities, challenges and risks. How can we work together to empower them to take charge of their lives and become positive forces for change in our constantly transforming society?

Join us to discuss and debate upcoming challenges and solutions with our panel of speakers and other like-minded individuals from the education and charity sectors. There will also be a variety of charities there to network with such as IntoUniversity, and refreshments will be provided.

Our confirmed speakers for the event are:

Amy Lewis, Senior Partnerships Associate, The Challenge

The Challenge designs and delivers programmes that bring different people together to develop their confidence and skills in understanding and connecting with others.

The Challenge runs three different programmes; NCS, HeadStart and Stepforward. NCS aims to bring young people from all different backgrounds together to take on new challenges, learn new skills and meet new people through residential programmes. Headstart encourages NCS graduates to continue their journey by volunteering in their local community while Step Forward is their one-year apprenticeship programme for London school leavers.

Our speaker will be talking to us about The Challenge and the different opportunities for young people through the programme with a focus on empowerment.
