We live in a fast paced world where laws, trends and technology are constantly evolving. We want to know how charities can build resilience and prepare for the future.

Join us to discuss and debate upcoming challenges with our panel of speakers and other like-minded individuals.

The Panel:

Floree Zama-Neagra, Charityworks, Development Manager

Floree is a passionate community builder. She has more than 10 years’ experience in the social sector, working for AIESEC and Impact Hub Westminster. In recent years, Floree has developed an interest towards social and environmental innovation with a particular interest in systemic change, holistic living and alternative methodologies.

Floree will be speaking about raising awareness of the UN Global Goals, aiming to demystify them for the audience, explain why they are important and how they are being discussed in the UK. She'll also provide examples on how some organisations are embedding the goals in their work.

Matt Harper, Compass Trust, Chairperson and Founder

On completion of an Economics and Politics degree at Lancaster University, Matt soon realised that he wanted to work in the charity sector – particularly working with causes that help young people to fulfil their potential. He co-founded The Compass Trust in South Africa in 2015, a charity providing scholarships to academically gifted young people from Lavender Hill, an impoverished township in Cape Town. He is also the Fundraising Officer at ReachOut where he works tirelessly to raise funds for its mentoring projects.

Matt will be speaking about his experience in setting up a charity in South Africa and the challenges they've faced as a young organisation. He would also like to touch upon the importance of passion, practicalities, and our experience of working with other organisations to deliver impactful projects.
