The sun was shining down on Manchester on Sunday 20th May 2018 for the annual Great Manchester Run, host of the UK’s largest (and no doubt loudest!) 10k. Adding to the noise was Team ReachOut cheering on our seven-strong team comprised of Project Leaders Kirsten and Sunainah, mentors Lyndsey and Bronwyn, as well as Project Officers Kirsty and Karishma and ReachOut supporter Chris.

Team ReachOut was split into 2 waves, and all stormed to glory in very respectable times with cheer team Chloe, Davy, Keisha and ReachOut supporter Michael flying the ReachOut flag as our runners crossed the finish line.

It was a fantastic day with runners, walkers and fancy dress donkeys all crossing the finish line representing many great causes. ReachOut runner Kirsten commented on how amazing the atmosphere was and how it spurred her on to the finish line of her first ever 10k run! It was great that Team ReachOut could be a part of this and the funds raised will help to continue our work across Greater Manchester. Thank you to all our generous sponsors and well done to all of our runners!
