Our corporate supporters are not simply funders - our relationships are much broader than that. Due to the nature of our work, we are highly dependent on volunteers and our corporate supporters help us to recruit them through partnering with us to engage their employees. They also enable a crucial aspect of our work which is building the aspirations of our young people through workplace visits and skills workshops.

Macquarie Group has worked with ReachOut since 2009 and became a strategic grant partner in 2012.  In that time over a quarter of a million pounds has been donated through grants, fundraising, matched funding and donations from the sale of redundant IT equipment. This is a true partnership where Macquarie employees support our organisation with time, money and assets.

They have been instrumental in helping us support our young people by providing regular volunteer mentors (weekly), facilitating employability workshops for students, offering work experience and hosting code clubs every half term. Macquarie give us space to host events such as away days, award ceremonies and our annual Impact Report launch evening. Macquarie employees have been involved in all kinds of fundraising activities such as; running the London Marathon, the Hackney Half marathon, entering teams in the annual ReachOut Charity Cup football tournament (runners up twice) and regularly arranging football and dodgeball tournaments in aid of ReachOut.

In 2016 our partnership was shortlisted for a Lord Mayor’s Dragon Award and in 2017 Macquarie Group EMEA CEO David Fass joined the ReachOut Board of Trustees. We are thrilled that this strategic partnership continues to go from strength to strength and look forward to working with Macquarie Group again in 2018.
UBS have supported ReachOut’s projects at The Bridge Academy in Hackney since 2013 by funding our projects and providing volunteer mentors who attend on a weekly basis.  They competed in our annual Charity Cup tournament this year and in May a group of 9 UBS runners took to the streets of London to run the Hackney Half marathon, raising an incredible £2,000 in the process!

Bloomberg has supported ReachOut since 2006. The global financial information and news leader has been part of our growth story, helping to support us as we moved from one school in Hackney to 17 schools across London. Bloomberg's ongoing support has included annual funding, employee volunteering and fundraising, and hosting events, such as the memorable presentation from the US Ambassador in November 2016.

Bank of America Merrill Lynch appointed us as an official charity partner in 2016 and is currently supporting our ReachOut Academy Project in Tower Hamlets. The bank has been instrumental in our expansion to Bow School, where we are now delivering two new projects for 32 young people. We already have a group of BofAML employees mentoring for us and delivering employability workshops on a regular basis!  On top of this, the bank is sharing skills to help us develop our Project Leader Development Programme, a learning, and development opportunity for our employees, on a pro bono basis.
Palatine has supported ReachOut since 2016 with a hugely successful annual fundraising darts night for their clients, two of their employees taking part in the Royal Parks half marathon and ongoing pro bono organisational support.  They are passionate about building a long- term relationship that makes a real difference to the lives of young people in London so we are immensely grateful for their support and are delighted to continue our partnership with them into 2018.

Shoosmiths law firm voted for ReachOut to be their London office Charity of the Year in 2017 and have been incredibly proactive in supporting us so far!  They have hosted a bake sale, a Jeans for Charity and a Halloween fancy dress day, as well as donating funds raised from their annual Silent Auction. They have provided us with space to host multiple training sessions and encouraged their staff to get involved through volunteering and payroll giving. We’re really excited about this partnership and look forward to what it brings in 2018!

Impact Creative Recruitment have partnered with ReachOut since 2016 where we developed a workshop programme linking young people in our partner schools to Impact’s highly respected creative and media clients.  This has provided an excellent opportunity for the media industry to reach more young and diverse individuals which has enabled a variety of opportunities for our young people. As a result of our partnership, Impact received the prestigious Heart of the City Dragon Award in 2017.

We were delighted to be chosen as Rede Partners official house charity partner in 2016.  They kick-started their fundraising by making a generous donation and since then have taken part in the Hampton Court Half Marathon, two ReachOut Charity Cup football tournaments and regular business mentoring for two of our Project Leaders!

ReachOut is lucky to have had a partnership with BlackRock since 2016. In addition to providing funding, BlackRock host regular workplace experience visits for our young people allowing them an invaluable insight into the financial industry.

We are very excited to have been chosen as Kinetic’s Charity Partner of the Year for 2018/19. Kinetic’s planned fundraising events for the upcoming year include the Jurassic Coast Challenge, (a 100km walk along the Dorset coast), an inter-agency Bingo competition, a variety of media space auctions as well as cycling a section of the Tour De France!

Having been selected as TAB's Charity Partner for the upcoming year, they have committed to undertake a number of fundraising challenges including entering a team in the Royal Parks Half Marathon. They have also let us use their office spaces for events such as mentor training and office away days.

The Buy to Let Business has chosen ReachOut as their charity partner for 2018. The Surrey-based mortgage brokerage has already undertaken the 3 Peaks Challenge, completed an office Cyclathon, entered a team in the Hackney Half and held a bake sale, all to raise money for ReachOut. With more exciting events in the pipeline, we’re looking forward to hearing what they will be getting up to next!
